50 years of memories
Paris, 1974
A wind of freedom blew through France and its women.
Driven by the creative energy of the era and the new aspirations of women, a 28-year-old Michel Quiniou decided to shake up the established codes of jewellery by launching AGATHA. His ambition: to enable all women to access chic, contemporary designs and assert their own style.
His style became instantly recognizable, with Paris providing endless inspiration. His wife, a fashion editor, whispered trends to him, which he translated into creations that were as elegant as they were impertinent. Léon, the family's Scottish Terrier, naturally became the brand's mascot. AGATHA quickly established itself as the emblem of a certain Parisian spirit: effortless allure, natural charm, and that little twist that makes all the difference.
Fifty years later, the brand retains this unique flair. It still loves Paris, its cafés, its grey skies, and its inhabitants who walk fast and laugh loudly.
